Out to Lunch. Back in Five.

Days, that is.

I am on vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and plan to take full advantage of the many activities, attractions, and entertainment opportunities the area affords.

Vacation
If you are like most Planet Moron readers you are probably wondering, “Is he sure he has enough alcohol?  Because it doesn’t look like he has enough alcohol.”

Also, "You blog drunk now, or at least that's how it looks, so what's the difference?"

Just taking a little time to recharge the batteries. I plan to continue my Twitter updates and might post randomly, but it should be a light week overall.

Try not to wreck the country too much while I'm gone.

Hey, we don't wreck the country, that's a union job. Between the actual unions and Congressional Local IQ50, the country's pretty much been ruined already.

What percentage of that alcohol is imported? Need I say more?

Bombay Sapphire always draws my eye. Then I remember that I don't like Gin. I still stock with it though, thus guaranteeing I'll have something on hand for visitors.

You're a courteous host, Amarsir. By the same token, that's why I keep water in the house.

As for country of origin, the cobalt blue bottle is a gin made in Philadelphia, the potato vodka is a local product made near Pittsburgh and my brother hadn't arrived in time for me to add the Jack Daniels Single Barrel to the stash, so not a bad showing for the local boys!

Where is the Apple Brandy?

Can we assume that all applicable taxes and fees have been paid on the adult beverages?

Yes, just doing our part to save or create jobs.

In the distilling business.

A sorely undersupported group in my opinion.
Will do my best to keep the stills going.

Damn. My Single Barrel cheated of its moment of glory.

If I had to guess, there was probably a great sigh of relief in Lynchburg, Tennessee upon hearing the news.
